...but ever since I was young Army Captain, my friends have called me "Dr. CC."
I am driven by a life-long calling to serve. I began my career as a Combat Medic in the Army Reserves. This began a more than 25-year journey within the health sciences where I have stayed connected to my passion of serving and growing as a clinician and leader.
My professional journey includes more than 25 years of military experience having recently retired from the Kansas Air National Guard where I served as a Lieutenant Colonel and Chief Nursing Executive.
I have more than 25 years of healthcare experience, including 15 years of operational and leadership experience within a variety of acute care, academic, and corporate settings.
In addition to working with organizations across the country and owning a small, cash-only primary care clinic, I am also the Associate Provost of Campus Health & Wellness at Kansas City University. As the first to ever serve in this role, I am responsible for developing and executing comprehensive wellness strategies including those impacting emotional, mental, physical, financial, spiritual and social health.

What I care about most is how people feel and what people do as a result of me being there.
-
Your organization will benefit from my superpowers of empathy, connecting dots, and innovating around how to reach people.
-
I do not operate from canned content.
-
I'm genuinely assessing and responding to your unique needs.
All of your effort goes into planning the event instead of planning what will happen as a result of it.
Having led the planning for events with up to 10,000 attendees,
You are tired of mediocre reviews of the events you have exhausted so much effort in planning.
You watch as time after time, presenters show up, deliver content that could just have easily been Googled, get paid, then leave and nothing happens as a result of them having ever been there.
